IF a pandemic should occur anytime there won't be much warning...............most virus infections are contagious before you know you are infected.

I have instituted some basic defensive actions that help me even in the regular flu season. This way I am developing better habits that will help me avoid all virus infections. Tho it truly isn't bad to get exposed to some flu-like virus's so you build up some immunity to the various strains.

1. Always get the flu vaccine.

2. Don't ever use community pens when I sign credit card receipts or checks or anything using a public pen. I always carry a pen and use my own.

3. Avoid hand contact with doorknobs

4. Wash hands frequently during the day

The priority isn't in that order but it has helped me greatly to avoid flu's.

Getting the flu vaccine is controversial to some but I get it for extra immunity....some think it's a waste because it's made with last year's virus and this year's virus has already mutated.

Anyway................I remain quite flu-free so I continue with my program.
