It's destroyed upstate New York. Check out Buffalo. In decline since the 30's. The first city in the nation to have electric lights. Same with the midwest. People just getting killed. Traditionally Republican, they're joining with the Demos against free trade and specifically blame NAFTA. Look at Indiana. Lots of car factories at one time; no more. Any talk of retraining the workers is a load of crap. Both parties are to blame. Both represent their elites and could care less about blue collar workers. The demos are only interested if they're minorities. Bush has been screwing them with open borders for the last eight years. They call them Regan democrats now. Obama may force them to vote Republican, but the party isn't doing anything positive to get them. McCain told them the jobs aren't coming back. Not with him and not with Obama. They may get more welfare with Obama, but I don't see anybody retraining them. Warehousing them till they die is more like it.
