AMD wants the courts to decide (i.e. government) what the free market already determines efficiently. One can argue that the market isn't truly free, but the "remedies" AMD proposes would likely be worse, as it rewards mediocrity and punishes success.

You mean, "punishes abuse."

Sorry, but there is no real debate about the need for antitrust law to correct the perversions that can and will arise naturally in a free market.
