As the Washington Times article made clear, this question was from the YouTube debate last July. He had approximately 1 second to choose his response. He thought of JFK's inaugural speech message, "Let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate."

That's the message that came through to the undecided and others. He was behind in the race then, by a large margin. He has just about wrapped it up now.

By that measure, his answer was decisive in more ways than one, and, to a large degree, because Hillary chose a different answer.

In each such country, the audience is not going to be who Obama will meet with. It is the population of that country and the citizens of many other countries around the world, as well as all of us back home.

Silently, it will answer the question, "Who is the United States of America?" after our standing and reputation have been butchered over the past 5 years.
