HRC was doing the digging. Almost everything that came up, possibly, came from "her". Rezko, Wright, Weatherman. Hillary vetted Obama.
True, but it's tough sledding when the MSM won't cooperate and you have to go through YouTube and the right-wing blogosphere because the New York Times won't print what you find. If you read only the NYT, you didn't find out for weeks that Jeremiah Wright had every proclaimed "God Damn America!" from the pulpit because the Times did their best to santize him. Wright really hit consciousness only when he did three TV interviews/speeches in a weekend. I don't think Ayers or Rezko have really been noticed yet.
The fact is, once Rove and GWB wanted Hillary, that was enough for some Democrats to vote for the one they didn't want. Ditto for Rush.
The campaigns where Rush was most active were Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania, which Hillary won.
Obama won a bigger delegate margin in illinois than Hillary won in New York. That, and his hometown paper's support for him, says they know all about Rezko and Obama passes.
What you are saying is that Chicago politics as usual does not shock Chicago. Quelle surprise. That, plus a monolithic black vote. |
