Don't you wish an Obama supporter would step up to explain that?

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK," Obama said.

Is he saying we have to have other countries' approval to air condition our homes and control how much food we eat? Are our SUVs subject to the approval of other nations? Will the UN need to be involved in deciding what kinds of cars we drive?

Maybe Fowler, Z, tejek (no, nevermind him) or CJ could explain this remark. I certainly cannot make sense out of it -- not with the context of any "America" that I've ever heard of.
