Actually a friend of my son's that was working on the rigs bought a big pickup a year ago and paid quite a bit for it. He is back working in Calgary here now and can't afford to run it at all any more now that gas is rising and offered it to my son for half of what he paid for it. My son doesn't want it as he is happy with his car that gets great mileage. I bet we are going to see more and more trucks and suv's getting dumped.. I was thinking that this morning. If those large vehicles aren't hybrids why would you want them?
