Guys you had better get used to these higher prices - over here in Europe prices are WAY higher already. A litre of unleaded costs about €1.48 which at an exchange rate of 1.57 comes in at $2.32 and there are 4.55 litres to the gallon, so a gallon of unleaded in France comes in at about $10.57.
The other side of the coin is our electricity is nearly 80% nuclear generated (with much of the rest being hydro) so we should be somewhat insulated from higher elec bills. I've installed a geothermal heating system which is doing a great job by giving me back 4Kw for each Kw of (relatively cheap) electricity I put in,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, |
