C, as you know, Hussman is not trying to predict daily moves/noise.

His argument is pretty straightforward (I hope I am not oversimplifying):

-Commodities (in particular, oil) are in a bubble;
-The bubble will be killed by higher interest rates;
-Gold will follow;
-Rate hikes will start at the end of this year, after elections.

So, if he is correct, gold will be significantly lower 6-9 months from now.
