Of course it could and it could be much worse. All you have to do is continue to polarize people with hateful rhetoric. When you tell people the culture which they are bound to and identify with is unworthy, the results are often maladaptive and destructive conduct. They will either fear and hate you for attacking that which they depend upon and view as nurturing and good or they will come to join you in hating what they represent ... and no apparent path to reconciliation with anything good and decent.

You have obviously been effected by the climate of fear and hate which produces that type of persona.

Certainly we must be self critical to succeed in anything. You are not. You are fearful and hateful, which is a far different thing. Twisting every decent effort and circumstance into something hopeless and condemnable is not being self critical, it is self destructiveness based on hate.

You cause resentment and division to foment. Divisions within, when they are extreme, will shred society. United we stand, divided we fall.

Resentment and division is the fuel of fear and hate that produces that kind of prejudice and violence.

The foundation of unity is honesty, which engenders trust; combined with the willingness to struggle together in common principle to work out our differences.

This nation, even all of western civilization, could disintegrate over night and would if you extremists had your way.
