I'm not so sure. There's also a "gender" factor here and I think the fact that Clinton has already campaigned in every state might give her an inside track on getting a lot of those women to support the Democratic ticket.

It wasn't just Southerners that weren't enthusiastic about Obama, it was also working class folks in PA and Ohio.

Whatever happens it's going to be a VERY interesting election. For one thing we'll probably see the greatest turn out in history by African Americans and they constitute a LARGE constituency in many southern states.
