That's BS. The first War ended and then we had No Fly Zones which protected the Kurds in the North and the Shiites in the South.

After the gassing of the Shiites we could have maintained those zones for the next 20 years.

The ONLY reason we went into Iraq was because the Morons in this Administration figured they could straighten out the WHOLE Middle East on the CHEAP and real quick and Bush Jr. could feel that he had done a better job than his old man.
