bentway, I think you're looking for motives that might not be there. You don't have to be a racsist to be wary and not crazy about Obama. If Obama were a White Guy and only had a couple years in the Senate after several years in a State Legislature, he probably WOULDN'T even be known right now, no matter HOW eloquent he could be. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have gotten a key spot at the 2004 Convention. I APPRECIATE the fact that Obama could be something World Changing because of his race and background if he's elected, but I also appreciate the concerns of the average "working guy" that is more worried about keeping his job and paying for healthcare than he is about how the World views his choice for President.
