Don't you think the Country actually did well while Bill Clinton was President? I do not. Do you PREFER the way the Country is going now versus the way it was going during the Clinton Presidency? No, but I also understand that the problems today are largely an outgrowth of an incompetent Clinton administration. Had Clinton done his job the War on Terror would have been fought in the late 90s rather than now. He kicked the can down the road, as they say. And when it hit in '01 it was a far bigger problem than it might have been in 97. He could have caught or killed bin Laden on multiple occasions and refused to do so. The reason was that he didn't notice that bin Laden had declared war on us. As a result, instead of treating him like an enemy, he treated him like a bank robber. As to you perception that I am ignorant, if you would care to refute any statement of mine, go for it.
