I disagree. These are different regimes. All corporations are nationalized by the government in a communist society. The fascist society is a merger of big business and the government, thus there is no nationalization. Both societies are governed by a dictator. The Orwellian doctrine of these two societies is also entirely different. Communism will not happen in America, at least not in any foreseeable future.
Communist societies are governed by the labor. If your neighbor got rich somehow, even though it's not allowed, you can just rob him, and that would be the proper thing to do. The other thing is to write a letter to the secret police, so they take and execute your neighbor without trial. Being wealthy is a punishable sin, and the secret police of the dictator works to implemeent the punishment <G>
In a fascist society propaganda usually focuses on nationalism - we are much better than others, so others have to be destroyed (WAR) and must serve us, usually by using military force or threats.
Note that communism is not a dictatorship by design, it's a Utopian society. Dictatorship just took over, because such a society is not possible. Some form of socialism is present in the United States and especially Canada and Europe, where taxes are being used to pay for public services and benefits.
I confess, we could see some more socialism in America, in a form of higher taxes and benefits. This is not evil, and has nothing to do with dictatorship regimes. |
