What 'peace' are you talking about??? We're not talking to them about war. We're trying to make them better 'national citizens' and you do that with a combination of carrots and sticks.

The policy of the United States is that we are engaged in a worldwide war on terrorism. ALL terrorism, regardless of the underlying specifics. Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism, which is not a fact that is in dispute.

The president of Iran is a known terrorist who was PERSONALLY involved in the taking of American hostages 30 years ago. He has called for the eradication of Israel, has denied the holocaust happened, and is pursuing, with all his energy, nuclear weapons against the demands of the world community. He has been belligerent in conducting war-like operations, and he is supplying terrorists and insurgents to kill Americans in Iraq.

How can you POSSIBLY suggest these people are candidates for "national citizens"?

This is the kind of idiocy the Left is coming up with. Let's sit down with this lunatic and try to negotiate. Negotiate WHAT?

WTF WOULD YOU SAY TO AHMEDENIJAD? Everyone is asking that question, and the Left has NO ANSWERS. Because there ARE no answers. You cannot negotiate with a madman.

I am constantly amazed at how ignorant the Left is on these matters.
