The cord doesn't come with a one or two year service plan. Most phones do.

I already had the service plan, have had it for ten years or so, so the phone cost me only fifty bucks. I felt even more like a thief there. But I gleefully enjoyed the bargain. Just liked I enjoyed the bargain air fare.

But if they fill the plane they will make a profit on $350 per seat.

That's why they announced that they're cutting routes, apparently the routes where they can't fill the plane. I'm not sure that's a good thing for their passengers. Convenient scheduling and the ability to fit your legs into the allotted space count, too. I'd pay extra for a not not-full plane or for leg room. I think I posted here before that I once bought an extra seat for the extra space. I don't want the lowest bidder most of the time.
