I will be a good trooper... Since the thread has recently become rather proper syntactically speaking, I'm fixin' to pitch in. The word should have been 'trouper' as in one who is uncomplaining. A trooper is a mounted soldier or policeman. (Hope you don't think I'm picking on you, Mary, as this is a very common mistake).
