CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/21/08 -- The Board of Directors of AmeriChip International, Inc. (OTCBB: ACII) (and its wholly owned subsidiaries) announced today that during a Board meeting held on Sunday, May 18, 2008, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a majority of the board voted to remove Mr. Marc Walther as the Chief Executive Officer, President and Co-Chairman of the Board.

During the interim Mr. Edward Rutkowski will continue in the position now as sole Chairman of the Board, while Mr. Thomas P. Schwanitz will, during this interim period, assume the duties of the Chief Executive Officer. Both Mr. Rutkowski and Mr. Schwanitz have and will continue to move the Company forward as they together with the Board of Directors select from numerous highly qualified candidates to hold the permanent position of Chief Executive Officer.
