Saudis I met were both fascinated by the prospect that America could elect a black man with the middle name Hussein, and generally convinced it could never happen.

I don't think being black is a stumbling block. Most of us would vote for a black man were he the better candidate.

Frankly, Hussein wouldn't be a problem were it not for the fact that Obama has all these terrorist connections. But when you get a man named Hussein and hangs around, socializes with, known terrorists, it is probably a bit much for most Americans to stomach.
