Dendrite gets largest contract ever with SmithKline Beecham:
MORRISTOWN, N.J.--(BW HealthWire)--Oct. 15, 1997--Dendrite International, Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:DRTE), the leading supplier of enterprise-wide customer management solutions, today announced that is has signed a definitive software agreement with SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals, the largest operating unit of SmithKline Beecham. SmithKline Beecham has purchased Dendrite's Series 6 licenses to upgrade their representatives and managers from a competitor's DOS-based system.
This agreement is Dendrite's largest single one-time U.S. license agreement to date. Dendrite has licensed over 20,000 users on its Windows product since it was introduced in 1994. Today it is the most widely used sales effectiveness and management product in the pharmaceutical industry worldwide.
