it would be nice to see if he could get the situations turned around with the voting groups he is said to have trouble with in the democratic party instead of trying to win with a fractured party. How does he do that with dogmatic groups in the party whose attitude is their way or the highway on their pet issues? Look at how McCain is pandering to the rightwing base subgroups, do we really want that from Obama too? If his message doesn't resonate with some groups, fine. No candidate is going to please all the folks who are obsessed with Israel or Cuba or who does shots in the bowling alley. The national agenda is more important than please every little clique that wants attention.
