Western Europe has been dealing with much higher Oil prices than the U.S. for a long time Precisely! In some ways socialism works efficiently in Europe & don't discount Pac Rim Asia. - They have better roads. - They have a superior mass transit systems. - They live (with firm rules, respect & a conscience for each other) closer together. How hard is that to implement here? Smart Cities rule! We, in the US unfortunately have one big stumbling block; PERSONAL GREED. Today US Corporate Executives earn incomes 400x the average US corporate employee (AE). Back in the 20's & 30's the average CEO earned 20x the 'AE'. Can you say disconnect? Tim
