I never tried those. Some people were raising ostriches for meat where I lived in Oregon. I don't know how well they did.

It sounds like you have traveled extensively. I'm the only one in my family who has never been to a foreign country (except Canada). There's so much to see here, I'm really not all that interested.

I would like to visit England and see the old base at Thurleigh where my father in law flew his B-17 out 13 times and back 12.

And see some castles.
