Yes, I think niche marketing to pharmaceutical sales reps is a great idea. There is lots of money in drugs (even the legal kind!) I have known a couple of pharmaceutical reps and the drug companies are not scared of spending on marketing tools. The impressive thing about Siebel is that they are a very marketing-focused company. This is a double plus when your target market is ... marketers. They of all people should appreciate good marketing. BTW I am long BROC and think it is a better investment than Siebel at current valuations. But BROC can learn a few lessons from Siebel.
