"Men of Men" is the title involving Rhodes and the diamond industry.

Smith's novels are page turners. Just ask LindyBill. I can't think of another writer who does as well.

Most of Wilbur Smith's novels are sited in Africa, and I believe he's a South African. A lot of his novels are sequential, after you get to know them. You don't have to read them in sequence to enjoy them, but he brings families of characters through the years from one novel to the next.

I started by reading River God, which is a novel of ancient Egypt. Seventh Scroll is the sequel, and answers some of the riddles posed in River God.

I think Wilbur Smith does outstanding research. Every detail that I'm knowledgeable in is right on the money.

Take your pick. You'll get hooked, right LindyBill?

PS, LindyBill likes Sunbird the best.
