DGLY 2008 House of Appropriations budget Earmarks For Car Digital Video Systems. See Link Below for Details: legislative.nasa.gov. down to page 275. It lists many departments that have been granted between $100,000 and $300,000 for in car digital video systems. Lets hope DGLY with the help of Ashcroft can land some of those "Law Enforcement Technology and Interoperability.—The amended bill provides $205,366,000 for law enforcement technology grants to State and local law enforcement agencies. Within the amounts provided, $1,000,000 shall be transferred to the National Institute of Standards and Technology to continue the efforts of the Office of Law Enforcement Standards in developing minimum standards for equipment purchased through this grant program."
