There is scant evidence that Iraq will ever become what you desire. The problem, of course, is you don't understand the strategic importance of Iraq. You never have, and I believe you never will. Iran was an absolutely crucial piece of the 9/11 attacks, and sitting a democracy down beside Iran is a significant piece of eliminating future threats. I don't expect you to understand this.
