The fact that oil worries are there is what leads me to a stock like Dell that is near 52 low. Another major spike in oil will hurt beaten up stocks a lot less than the high fliers techs or infrastructure plays.

I am looking at oil as an opportunity to short. I see the the olympics in china as the main reason they are continuing with the big gas subsidies for consumers. Once that event is out of the way, look for a big fall in oil to 60 to 80, imho. For now, just waiting and watching the oil market.

As for Dell, it is still only a trade and not a long term investment. Will probably get out just before earnings and keep a little bit into earnings. Waiting to see how it reacts leading up to that date. It also seems to react better following the big selloff the day before....a very good sign.
