EDS is a perfect acquisition and the price is right.

Gotta disagree. I think this will blow up in their face down the road. Integrating people is the hardest thing to do in an acquisition, and EDS business is all people and their relationships with clients. EDS has been a dog of a stock since the tech meltdown, constantly restructuring and generating zero revenue growth. If I were Hurd I would have bought CSC which would have produced the same scale benefits, more government business which is insulated from offshore competition, better cash flows, and simpler to understand than the mess that is EDS.

Hurd's reign of glory is over.....
