FYI: hursday October 16 8:48 AM EDT Cobalt bids range between $15.03 and $17.04/lb NEW YORK, Oct 16 (Reuters) - Cobalt bids in the upcoming sale by the U.S. Defense National Stockpile range between $15.03 and $17.04 a lb, the agency said Thursday. The high bidder was ISK Magnetics, while the low bidder was Hall Chemical Co. REUTERS The largest bidder was Minor Metals Inc, which bid $16.88 a lb on a maximum award quantity of 558,888 lbs. Other bidders included F&S International, Shepherd Chemical, Sovereign Recycling and Voss Metals. Bids for the 500,000-tonne sale were opened Wednesday.
