Thats what he meant. Govt can influence decisions like SUV thru the tax system or thru incenting alternate industries. The President can jawbone with the american people to lower thermostas. And isnt weight loss a good thing? You and Broomar are so focused on that statement, it makes one wonder about your psychological makeups. When a presidential candidates wants to start giving veto approval to other nations over what I drive or eat, I have a problem with that. I see no reason that ANY other country ought to have even the slightest say, and in fact, that is tantamount to giving up our sovereignty which should never be considered.
