I hope they keep their eye on the ball with those under age girls who got married and pregnant.

They lost that focus when they so drastically removed every child, regardless of its individual situation. There's just no way adequate and sufficient evidence was found to justify that kind of action. And some of the alleged 15 year olds have apparently turned out to be adults, even in their 20s. I think one was 27.

When a law is broken (and the marriage of 15 year old girls to these much older men is no more than rape, imo), then there is justification for intervention. I am a lot less sanguine about the general charge that those children were in danger because they were being raised to be submissive or to believe certain things that could lead to the early forced marriages. While we may personally find the role of women in that sect appalling, there's no legal reason to remove the children.
If that kind of judgment call is allowed, the Hagees of the world would be removing babies from Catholic families, or we'd take children from the homes of known racist bigots who might be passing on their hatred.
