Hagee is one of McCain's main ministers. He actively went after Hagee's support and got it. They bonded. He's been doing that all across the country. And now it's come back to hit him in the face. Hagee's pro Nazi statements also illuminate the mentality of the far right, the closet fascism mixed with religious superstition and xenophobia which is at the heart of their wrong-headed attitudes, along with greed and selfishness.

Of course in reality McCain isn't religious at all. He's probably agnostic. Just panders to these rightwing fascist nuts.
