You tried to pass off free samples as some kind of benefit to humanity instead of as a marketing ploy by manufacturers of drugs. I said that this is not some kind of donation to the poor but recognized it as what it is...advertising.

You are trying to paint drug manufacturers as benefactors of mankind when they are clearly trying to profit by pushing patented drugs on people whether for good or for no good.

I will say again that the PROFIT MOTIVE IS WHAT PREVENTS NEEDED DRUGS FROM REACHING THE MARKET and WHAT KEEPS DANGEROUS OR USELESS DRUGS ON THE MARKET.

Granted, that not all drug products or R&D are so negatively affected but too many of them are as in the examples I provided to you. It is simplistic and incorrect to take as given that profit is what drives useful human activity. Many people who do the best and most useful work receive little pay while those who do actual damage to others receive gobs of money.

I am not attacking you for not looking at the facts, I am pointing out that you come to the wrong conclusion because you fail to look at facts to begin with. I am encouraging you to find supporting evidence to bolster your opinions because I suspect you will find that your opinions have no factual support.
