the 'well' was her visiting the well of uncertainty about obama based upon not his positions, but the fact that he is new, different, unvetted that has been one of arguments all along against him...she says she is a known quantity (despite her manifest failures and divisiveness)....she was intimating that because of who is he is, he might be potentially assassinated which would be a horror for the country and was trying to play into those fears a despicable display of political hunger meant to stir up the most base feelings of human prejudice and fear
