VERY IMPORTANT!! PLEASE READ AND POST AROUND OTHER PLACES.

This is information I ran into today. If we don't start requesting our certificates we may never get this problem resolved.

"The WSJ also omitted that it would be impossible with the high volume of trading (over 5 billion shares daily) across equity markets to force all trades to complete in three days. Those seeking a solution would force a return to an earlier period in history, akin to a time when paper stock certificates and payments were exchanged on a trade-for-trade basis. Were this line of argument to be successful, it would bring the robust equity markets in the U.S. to a screeching halt, and destroy our competitiveness with other capital markets around the world."

People if we really want to win our markets back we have to quit being so cheap and demand your paper certificates. I'm sick to death of being called a Kook over this but it's our only hope. Don't you see the logic in this. Please read the message I just posted. If we don't demand our certificates the broker you bought them for will loan our your stock 10 times over again and you never bought it to begin with all you did was paid fees for the transaction. Please take me serious. I know it will cost you a fee for obtaining the certificate. They will do everything they can to try to stop you from getting it. Don't let them talk you out of it. Then you KNOW THE STOCK IS YOURS!! Until then all you did was pay your broker a fee for buying you nothing.
