FACT: Mutations only happen in the Zygote state.

You 100% sure of that – gene expression is responsive to the environment even in adults.

FACT: Zygotes only exist inside of eggs.

When it is a zygote there is no egg.

Dan, it’s a false problem, a seductive one. In reality, the chicken and the egg co-arose. They arose in mutual dependance upon each other. They are interdependently originated. It is simply not possible to have one without the other.

Asking which came first, is the result of a particular mode of perception, that these are indeed two completely separate things, as if one of which, can come without the other. This is absurd, it's just not how it works. The question itself is thus a function of a faulty cognition and therefore pointless, witness the last 2000yrs of western philosophy. It's no wonder science took over, unfortunately the misperception persists. But things are changing.
