You deal in a lot of supposed absolutes, which proves that you are not unbiased and that you don't think rationally:

I deal in facts, not absolutes. Anyone who cannot recognize a stark difference between these two at this point, and cannot instantly decide whom he supports, is conflicted about his own beliefs OR doesn't understand the issues.

As I watch the ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns, and ponder the possibility of Obama in the role of president at this ceremony. It is, simply put, impossible. Impossible, because he lacks respect for the entire process, doesn't appreciate the service that soldiers gave, and doesn't understand sacrifice.

>> McCain's colleagues in the Senate say he has an explosive temper

First of all, this is a rumor and we really don't have any evidence that it is true. As I mentioned before, I am interested in facts. But I will say that even if true, this is not a trait that would concern me. The suggestion that he is going to "lose his temper" and take us to war is stupid, and I believe you must know that.

There is no evidence that Obama is anti-American.

Of course there is. With all the gifts he and his wife have received from the United States, his wife was able to say she has never been proud of America. Wright obviously is anti-American to his core, and this is a man with whom the Obamas have had a close personal relationship for 20 years. When Obama announced his race for the Senate, he did so while standing on the front porch of an avowed anti-American terrorist.

Besides the relationships, which are very troubling, his policy statements are radical and suggest anti-Americanism to the core. He has clearly stated he will negotiate with America's enemies (which, by deductive reasoning, clearly indicates he will acquiesce in America's positions). This is anti-American, anyway you cut it.

His remarks make it clear that he will cede American sovereignty to other nations. He is part of the "Blame America First" crowd, and THAT is anti-American.

By what metrics can you make that claim? We're no closer to handing over security to Iraqis than we were in 2004. </I.

The overall level of violence in Iraq today is the lowest it has been in four years. The American casualty rate for May is the lowest since the war began. Al-Sadr appears to have been defeated. Those who are claiming there hasn't been progress are either uninformed (which suggests you are watching too much Keith Olberman) or simply unwilling to be enlightened.

I like the idea of Democracy in the Middle East as a way to bring about increased national security. However, oil independence is by far a superior solution.

Unfortunately, oil independence alone doesn't solve the problem of radical Islam wanting to kill you and your family.

Look, you are operating with partial information. No intelligent, rational person who is fully informed is going to support Obama. Get away from the liberal media and do some homework and you will come to the correct conclusion. But you have your head so far up Obama's ass at this point you cannot be rational.
