Let's define our terms. Excimer lasers are gas lasers whose active medium is a noble gas halide (argon fluoride, krypton fluoride or xenon chloride). Do you consider such laser technologies to be mature? If you would narrowly specify which gas lasers you regard as "mature" I will try to find an answer.
