<<<my reference is to the recent off shore oil discoveries by Petrobras>>>

That is not exactly a new discovery. Ken Heebner has been way ahead of most people and has been recommending Petrobras and these oil finds for quite some time. The announcement probably refer to Petrobras actually having gotten their investments together and orderig equipment for the drilling. I don't know exactly when geologists first discovered these cites, but it has been known for quite some time.

The 50 year estimated reserves include these cites. BTW the 50 year reserve estimate is based on current rate of usage. There are about 2 billion people in Chindia having other ideas. Also, owners of ME oil are not letting us know how much there is in reserve. All estimates are WAGS.

The question is still, is it too early to transition?
