long time no.....

Glad to see some Qcom oldies.

I own Qcom at $37 from a few years ago and am getting ready to write some calls. Trying to figure how far out.

A year and a half ago ago I wrote $40's out a year- Jan 08. Got to keep the stock.

I agree with you on the grim macro outlook. I am closely watching short rates. My suspicians are that in 6-12 months 4-5% will be standard so if I lose the stock to being called I will put the cash in short rates and forego covered calls for money market rates. We really could see 6-10% short rates in the next few years.

Another Covered Call stock I recommend is Chevron. Been doing the same thing with it as Qcom.
