Mike, I think you're wrong. (and I'm not just hyping or being "blinded by the light.") Noam's vision for the future, and I believe the industry's vision, is for companies to integrate all facets of their product line for a complete telephony solution. One of MRV's most interesting features is this very silent Laser Diode business. It would only take one good contract from an AT & T or someone in that area to send their revs into ballistic mode. The future of communications is entirely over the phone. Will cable modems be the future, their covered by their networking side, will phone lines be the future, their covered by their laser diode side. Since they've successfully called which technologies will be marketable and have brought to commercialization their own solutions, what makes you so sure that a Lucent or other similar company wouldn't want them?
