what about doctor productivity... twenty years ago a gp or internist would see maybe 15/20 patients a day.. today maybe 40 patients a day... if you do not take charge of your situation you do not have a prayer of a doctor determining anything wrong with you if a blood test, bp etc is normal. A ten minute visit perhaps twice a year is not enough to maintain your health no matter how many doctors are available.
