The tactics of the Bush administration got them into the White House and kept them there, but lost Congress and any hope of a lasting conservative majority. Now Bush's approval ratings are hitting the 20's in some polls, on a par with Nixon when he resigned.

It will be a breath of fresh air if we get a president next year who is actually in tune with the electorate again. This guy checked out a couple of years back.

The fact that McCain doesn't even want a photo of himself with Bush at the fundraiser says it all.
