<<The patents are owned by Americhip. Ed sold them to Americhip years ago.>>

I sure would love to see the agreement between ed and acii.

<<They were issued April 6, 1993 and january 24, 1995. They expire after 17 years.>>

Not too long from now. Would not be that big of a deal if they had made some nice LACC sales.....but who is going to give acii lacc biz NOW knowing the patents expire and not knowing what is going on with future patents or what kind of legal mess acii is creating which any customer of acii's could be harmed by. Lets assume GM gives them a huge LACC order. What happens when all of this ends up in court? I doubt GM or any large company will want to even think about getting involved in a mess that could harm their biz....what large company is going to work with a penny stock, with serious issues, inept management, a never ending soap opera and serious questions as to legal issues that they could get harmed from?

<<My understanding is that the new ones Ed was working on are complete but not filed yet(?)and are also the property of Americhip.>>

That looks like the makings of a very messy situation. The patents are ones that ED was working on....

Ed just going to walk away from all of his hard work or put up a fight???

complete but not yet filed for

So, ED COMPLETED the work..and again...he is just going to walk away?? Not filed yet?? If not filed, I am sure there will be quite a fight over who they really belong to.....I do not see Ed working and completing patents and simply walking away..especially after what he told a poster after the first 8k saying marc was gone....

and also the property of acii

Once again, looks like a very messy situation. No way do I believe Ed will walk away allowing acii to own patents he worked on and completed and I dont care what previous written agreement they had. The agreement will be worth the paper it is written on and nothing more if this hits the courts. The ultimate decision of ownership will be decided by the courts and again, I do not see ed simply walking away from HIS hard work.....I also have to question what patents they have that arent filed yet.....IMO, I do not think they have a strong patent portfolio and nor do I think they can come up with anything that will not lead to more court battles as others will sue them for patent infringement...it's the latest big thing....the way the patents office approves patents is ridiculous..they approve patents that are knowingly infringing on others patents and they just assume let the courts decide.....just look around...everywhere you go, you see more and more companies fighting over patent infringement......IMO, any new patents acii MIGHT have, will be challenged in court...not to mention now there is an issue over whether acii or ed owns the patents...this looks like a very messy situation....

<<Rhonda is back and taking calls.>>

I dont see that as a good thing. Between marc and rhonda, they have enough skeletons in their closets to scare away the wicked witch. Marc has how many past bankrupt companies? Marc has pulled how many games with acii?? And rhonda?? LOL...Another checkered past history......Lest not also forget that marc and rhonda spent quite a bit of time, blatantly lying about many issues to many people over a rather long period..and they are back at the helm of acii?? Not good imo....

<< Situation is crazy at best.>>

Very much so.....But, for those that really believe acii will come out of this ok, this might end up presenting a buying opp under a penny...I would not touch this at any price under the current circumstances...but for those that really believe in acii, this 'mess' may help get some cheapie shares for those that do believe.....

Good luck to all longs......as Rush said..this is certainly a crazy situation...and many times crazy situations provide an opportunity to make profits......
