It could be simply that he published it just as soon as it was completed. Could be. I'm sure the publishers have something to do with the timing also. New authors don't really get to dictate much. I seem to be alone on this one :). I don't agree with Suma that it's noble; I don't like the idea of screwing the current admin for whom you worked and represented at this point in time- that's too selfish and cold for me, especially since this can hurt the party that he has been with in the upcoming election. (if he had been that convinced of evildoings, he should have blown a whistle long ago). Not sure if I accept a guilty conscience which some psych pundits have mentioned. I didn't like innuendos about people's private meetings when he had no proof, either. I really have no idea what it's all about. So-- could be.
