John, the lame duck will be gone in just under eight months. The culture of denial within the White House is already well-known and well-documented. It's no wonder Bush has an approval rating below freezing. If you want to focus on those who still believe in Bush, then who am I to stop you from banging your head against the wall? I personally think it's very interesting how many turncoats there have been coming out of Washington these days, and how all of them who once stood right by Bush giving approval for the Iraq war are now plunging their daggers right into his heart. Is that the GOP's fault? Most definitely it is. But it seems betrayal these days pays off very well. How much do you think I can make writing a book entitled, "How the GOP failed me as a conservative"? It'll certainly sell a lot better than my former idea for a book, "The Seven Rules of Partisan Politics" ... Tenchusatsu
