That doesn't change the fact that increased domestic production over the next say, 8-20 years, will help keep price rises moderate while the transition to whatever comes after the petroleum economy takes place.

BP, you must be one of the people who think that the CA energy crisis back in 00-01 was caused by govt and evil environmentalist tree huggers who refused to allow people to build more refining capacity.
