You mentioned immigration and GW/CO2 as two top issues, and it occurred to me those are two where McCain is a maverick compared to the orthodox base. But I believe he is more in tune with the majority public opinion positions.

If there are other positions where you have base positions, you could let us know. I am not going to presume to speak for you except where you have spoken on the record.

I would go dig out more but dinner waits. Family time now.
